Sustainable Houses in the Impenetrable Chaco

Rural housing designed for indigenous communities, with natural water and ventilation systems.

This project marked a milestone in Neo Estudio's history, bringing sustainable solutions to the heart of the Chaco Impenetrable. We designed homes adapted to the extreme climate and the needs of indigenous communities, integrating cross ventilation, elevated roofs, rainwater collection and treatment systems, and bathrooms with composting technology for graywater management. The construction was carried out with local, low-impact materials, strengthening cultural identity and promoting self-sufficiency. It was an early example of how sustainable architecture can transform realities in vulnerable territories.
